Woodworcks is back
With a spiffy new design. Which, admittedly, was not one of the reasons I took a break, but as Robin, I can't let any changes to the site go without a redesign. Seriously, I'm notorious for redesigning often.
The new setup is quite straightforward, but I'll give you a quick rundown nonetheless.

Update Pause
It's not that I don't have the time or material itself to post, but I've been considering what to do with woodworcks and it needs a bit more. Recently I did a microfiction 'story' ('Found in Space'
) which I couldn't add to woodworcks because it didn't feel right.
As it turns out, the blog format doesn't really allow for both diversity and easy readability.
I'll be working on redesigning (but mostly re-thinking) woodworcks so that it can house most of my creative work, rather than just certain stories.
This means, by the way, that I am pleased with woodworcks and want to expand it. That's good news!

Welcome to Woodworcks!
Woodworcks is nothing special, just a little place where I hope my stories and other pieces of fiction can find a home. Not all of it will be as good as the other, and the themes will vary greatly, as my interests do as well. The intent is to post a story once every week, with some longer stories in multiple parts to keep the buffer comfortable (the buffer of written material is currently around 30 stories, so I think it's going to be just fine). Aiming at 1500 words a week maximum. The category links to the right will help you find all the stories (or parts thereof) you might be looking for, but there's also the story archive
link, which is probably even easier.
Why post most of my material online? Simple. The buyers ain't buyin' and I'm sick of just sitting on this material. I want to get it out there, have it entertain people and get some feedback in return. I want to get better as a writer and I see only one way forward - not keeping it to myself any longer.
If you like what you're reading, bookmark, follow the RSS
, follow me on twitter
or whatever. Comment and let me know what you think - feedback is very important to a writer, because if I have no clue as to what I'm doing wrong (or right), I can't fix it (or do it more often!).
Thanks in advance for reading my work, I appreciate it, but do let me know so I know who to appreciate!
